Bret & his Neel 51
ADVENTURE PROJECTS
Bret, Amanda & their son were preparing for the World Cruising Club's ARC Rally in 2022.
Having limited sailing experience and never owning a boat from new we stepped in to help.
We worked with them to spec, from the manufacturers list of options and suggested additional upgrades for bluewater cruising.
We followed the build process and travelled to the yard in France for the launch and commissioning period.
We supported warranty work and their first months aboard, until the ARC Rally start line.

Simon & Jodi's Discovery 50 BW
ADVENTURE PROJECTS
Simon & Jodi had decided to retire, they bought their Discovery 50 BW in Jersey but COVID struck.
Having signed up to the World Cruising Club's ARC rally, they were short on time and experience in setting up a boat for bluewater cruising.
We undertook a full audit of their yacht and managed the program of repair and upgrades. We also created a training program for Simon and Jodi, to get them up to speed with their boat and the bluewater skills they needed.
They are now cruising the Caribbean and participating in WCC World ARC Pacific 2023.

Director
Will the owner of White Dot Sailing has been coaching and project managing boats for 15 years. He is a qualified Yachtmaster Instructor, Powerboat Instructor, Keelboat Instructor & holds a Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate all through the MCA & Royal Yachting Association.
Will also works alongside the World Cruising Club advising on safety and general preparation for Bluewater sailing before and during their events, including the ARC rally. He has sailed all over including the British Isles, Biscay, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean - but there are plenty more on the bucket list.
Maintenance & Commissioning Engineer
Martin has a wealth experience in the marine industry having previously managed charter fleets, been responsible for warranty and service departments and a workshop manager in a number of yards. He has also freelanced as a project manager for refits and
commissioning of vessels in the Middle East for an extended period and he’s run the odd marina too! He holds an RYA Yachmaster Offshore qualifcation and is trained in electrical engineering and yacht manufacture. When not working he gets out on the water as much as possible and volunteers with the Sea Scouts. He also plays a bit of golf.
Commissioning Engineer & Skipper
George is a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Ocean, as well as a Chief Instructor and an RYA Yachtmaster Examiner. He has over 20 years experience within the marine industry as an owners representative on new-builds and refits. George has also managed multi-million pound yachts over their lifetime, in short he knows how to get owners, their crews and their yachts ready for anything from a day sail to an ocean crossing.
When not preparing clients for adventures, he can be found preparing for his own; trail-running, adventure trekking or training in the gym.
Shipwright & Marine Engineer
Craig is a time served shipwright, mechanical/electrical engineer, joiner and fabricator; starting out as an apprentice at Camper & Nicholsons building wooden yachts. We haven't found a boat system he hasn't managed to design, install, fault find or repair yet and therefore he is responsible for much of our installations and upgrades, allowing us to keep most major works in-house.
When not tirelessly improving the condition of yachts under our care Craig is involved in charity work, spending time with his family and tending to his alotment- continuing his agricultural heritage.
